    From the Secretary...

    From Joyce Roberts, CIRGA Secretary/Treasurer

2007 A year of change. We have a new president, Margie Martino. Welcome to the fray!! This looks like a great new year. We will again be monitoring the workshops. The Symposium is a great place to start getting the workshop requirements out of the way. It is also a great time to renew old friendships and meet new folks.

The minutes of the meeting: The meeting was called to order at 11:15am. The minutes and treasurers report were discussed. There was a discussion of the new guild requirements. The old questions were voted out and a consensus was reached that each guild would be dealt with on a guild by guild basis.

New officers were elected. Margie Martino is President, Heather Parish is Vice President, Joyce Roberts is the Secretary/Treasurer, and Raelynn is again the Ambassador. The new Webwright is Kimiko Small. It was decided to not appoint the area ambassadors at this time.

The RenSymposium was discussed. It was voted that CIRGA would contribute $500 in exchange for 50 entries to the event. These are available to any CIRGA guild member.

The schedule was discussed for this year and the address list was not passed out. New applications were to be filled out by those that were there. Dues will remain $15.00 and checks may be written to CIRGA, and mailed to 4413 E. Ashcroft, Fresno, CA 93726.

There was an update on Chris Morgans Sister-in-law. She is doing really well and has already returned home. The meeting was adjourned at 2:30pm...a record for us. Joyce
